Shqiponja Ahmetaj, vajza nga Elbasani, ka fituar çmimin “Hedy Lamarr Prize” në Austri duke u cilësuar si shkencëtarja e vitit. Shqiponja u largua 18 vjeçe nga qyteti i saj i lindjes, Elbasani dhe vazhdoi studimet në Shën Petersburg.
Shqiponja Ahmetaj, vajza nga Elbasani, ka fituar çmimin “Hedy Lamarr Prize” në Austri duke u cilësuar si shkencëtarja e vitit.
Ajo është bijë e dy intelektualëve elbasanas, Mejreme dhe Shemun Ahmetaj.
Shqiponja u largua 18 vjeçe nga qyteti i saj i lindjes, Elbasani dhe vazhdoi studimet në Shën Petersburg.
Sapo përfundoi studimet Bachelor në Rusi, Shqiponja fitoi një bursë nga Komisioni Evropian për programin ‘European Master’s Program in Computational Logic“ (EMCL).
Në vitin 2011, ajo nisi studimet Master në Universitetin Teknik ne Dresden të Gjermanisë.
Semestrin e dytë e përfundoi në Free University of Bolzano të Italisë. Ndërsa, vitin e dytë të studimeve, Shqiponja zgjodhi të shkojë në Vjenë, ku vazhdon të vijojë studimet e pos-doktoratës.
Në tetor të këtij viti, qyteti i Vjenës e dekoroj Shqiponjën me çmimin “Hedy Lamarr”, çmim ky që i ndahet çdo vit një shkencëtareje për arritjet që ka bërë në fushën e teknologjisë së informacionit.
